TIMBA FUSION is a class designed around learning basics steps of salsa on1 combined with more AfroCuban-inspired moves and body movement. It is centered around the music called "timba", which is a modern style of salsa that evolved in Cuba in the 90's. Timba has a more heavy-hitting style of percussion and generally has a different feel from a salsa clasica, salsa romantica, or salsa dura. This class is open-level and for anyone who wants to expand their range of solo movement in salsa!
