Bachata Traditional — The Roots

Level 1 is for Absolute Beginners.
Welcome to Bachata! Get ready to explore this fun and exciting Dominican dance, focusing on foundational rhythm, footwork, timing, partner connection, and authentic bachata movement. Let the journey into the world of Bachata begin!
Prerequisite: No experience required. This is a 2-month syllabus (minimum 2 months before advancing to Bachata Urban)..
Bachata Urban — Social Dance & Flow
Wednesday 7:00-8:00pm
Continue the journey to Bachata Urban! The modern social style is most commonly danced at socials and clubs, focusing on turns, transitions, connection, wraps, and fluid partnerwork.
Prerequisite: Minimum 2 months of Bachata Traditional required. This is a 4-month syllabus. Must complete a minimum of 4-6 months, plus get assessment & approval from instructors before moving to Bachata Sensual
Bachata Sensual — Body Control & Connection
Wednesday 8:00-9:00pm
Welcome to Bachata Sensual! Focused on body movement, control, technique, musical interpretation, and the deeper connection required for Sensual Bachata.
Prerequisite: Minimum of 4-6 months of Bachata Urban PLUS instructor approval required for this program.
