SALSA Essentials
In Salsa Essentials, dancers expand their movement vocabulary by learning traveling turns, direction changes, open breaks, multiple handholds and essential partnerwork techniques used in real social dancing. You’ll work on body movement technique and footwork concepts, while improving control, precision, and connection. This level emphasizes clean technique and flow, helping you move more confidently and comfortably on the dance floor.
Prerequisite: Minimum 2 months of Salsa Fundamentals required. Complete at least 4 months total in Salsa Essentials before moving to Salsa Development

Frequently Asked Questions
Do I need to bring a partner?
You do not need to bring a partner. You will partner up during class and we rotate partners often.
Do I need special shoes?
Beginners can start with street shoes or dress shoes that have ankle-straps (support) with medium-height heels or any flat-bottom shoes or regular dancing shoes. Avoid wearing shoes that have thick rubber soles such as sneakers, clogs, boots or flip-flops.
I can't make it to my class, can I switch days?
Please message us and we will try and to make arrangements for you to catch up on material missed.
Can I use my purchased package next cycle?
All sales are non-refundable. You must complete use all 4 classes in the current cycle. It cannot be used or extended for future workshops/cycles. It cannot be shared or transferred to another person.
