Salsa Beginner / LEVEL 1
Level 1 is for Absolute Beginners.
This course is for new students who want to learn and master the fundamentals of dancing Salsa On1. Consistency is key to ensure you are confident on the dance floor!
We will cover basic steps & turns, timing & musicality, connection & resistance, balance, weight change and arm styling. Once you've completed level 1 you will be prepared to take on any class or social.
Salsa level 1 is a two month course syllabus. After you comeplete level 1 the next step is Level 2. We highly suggest you stay in level 1 until you have a strong foundation and feel confident in your fundamentals.

Frequently Asked Questions
Do I need to bring a partner?
You do not need to bring a partner. You will partner up during class and we rotate partners often.
Do I need special shoes?
Beginners can start with street shoes or dress shoes that have ankle-straps (support) with medium-height heels or any flat-bottom shoes or regular dancing shoes. Avoid wearing shoes that have thick rubber soles such as sneakers, clogs, boots or flip-flops.
I can't make it to my class, can I switch days?
Please message us and we will try and to make arrangements for you to catch up on material missed.
Can I use my purchased package next cycle?
All sales are non-refundable. You must complete use all 4 classes in the current cycle. It cannot be used or extended for future workshops/cycles. It cannot be shared or transferred to another person.
